WWE superstars Rhea Ripley, Cody Rhodes, and Rey Mysterio are set to make their debut in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3’s fifth season of content. Players will have the opportunity to embody these iconic wrestlers through new operator skins and other cosmetics. There will be two WWE-themed bundles available with the launch of Season 5, including Rhea Ripley as a standalone operator skin. To unlock Ripley, players can purchase the game’s Battle Pass, which will also grant access to 110 earnable content pieces and skins for other characters like Valeria. It seems that Ripley will initially only be accessible through the game’s season pass, but more options may become available in the future.
Fans of Cody Rhodes and Rey Mysterio can also get in on the action with their own dedicated operator bundles. The “Tracer Pack: WWE – Cody Rhodes” Operator Bundle features a unique operator skin, two stars and stripes-themed Weapon Blueprints, a Weapon Charm, Weapon Sticker, Large Decal, Loading Screen, and the “Cross Rhodes” Finishing Move inspired by Cody’s real-life signature move. Similarly, Rey Mysterio’s bundle, “Tracer Pack: WWE – Rey Mysterio” includes an operator skin, two red and black Weapon Blueprints, as well as a Weapon Charm, Weapon Sticker, Large Decal, Loading Screen, and the “Mysterio Bulldog” Finishing Move.
In celebration of WWE’s SummerSlam, a special event will take place from July 31 to August 7 where players can complete unique challenges to earn an Operator Skin mastery reward. Additionally, a limited-time Slam Deathmatch Game Mode will be available during the SummerSlam season. This mode adds a twist to the traditional Team Deathmatch by incorporating WWE Finishing Moves. Players must down enemies in combat and finish them off using a randomized WWE Finishing Move. This unique gameplay experience adds another layer of excitement to the upcoming season of content, providing fans with even more reasons to dive into the action.
