The $549.99 OnePlus Pad 2 may have just recently launched, but the original version remains a worthwhile option that’s now undercutting the new model’s price by $170. Now through August 6th, you can pick the first-gen OnePlus Pad at Woot for $379.99 ($100 off), its lowest price ever. Sure, the older Pad may not have a 12.1-inch display or a nifty vibrating stylus that makes it feel like you’re writing on paper, but its 11.6-inch LCD has some great specs of its own — including a speedy 144Hz refresh rate and sharp, 2800 x 2000 resolution.

OnePlus’s first tablet was a pleasant surprise when it launched last year, as the brand’s freshman effort offered great performance at an affordable price. That’s thanks in part to a snappy MediaTek Dimensity 9000 processor, 8GB of RAM, and 128GB of base storage, along with an impressive quad-speaker system with support for Dolby Atmos. It didn’t skimp on build or screen quality, either, though, as is the case with the Google Pixel Tablet and other Android tablets, it still suffers from a somewhat lackluster app ecosystem and offers few advanced multitasking features. Nonetheless, it’s an all-around nice package that’s hard to beat for the price.

OnePlus’s first tablet punches above its weight thanks to excellent performance, great build quality, and a terrific 11.6-inch LCD display that offers up to 144Hz refresh rates. The older Pad may not have the latest bells and whistles, but its display and design are still impressive compared to other tablets in the same price range. The 144Hz refresh rate ensures smooth visuals, and the sharp resolution adds to the overall viewing experience. While it may lack some advanced features, it makes up for it in performance and display quality.

Just in time for next month’s price hike, Woot is offering a month of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for $10.79 ($6.20 off) or three months for $33.49 ($11.40 off) with promo code VIDEOGAMES. Yes, Game Pass might still be a good value even after the increase — it lets you access a library of more than 100 games across Xbox and PC, after all — but you might as well save while you can before then. Ultimate subscribers also get access to online multiplayer, exclusive deals, and Xbox Cloud Gaming, which lets you stream games to your phone, a tablet, or even a compatible Fire TV device. If you’re a gamer looking to enhance your experience, this deal is definitely worth considering.

Now through August 9th, the updated version of 8Bitdo’s Ultimate Wired Controller for Xbox is down to $24.99 ($20 off) at Woot. The terrific gamepad connects to Xbox consoles and PC via USB-C and offers two extra rear buttons and a slew of customization / remapping options. The recent upgrade to Hall effect sticks makes the already-solid controller even better, as it should be more reliable in the long term (though, Woot’s promo only includes a 90-day limited warranty). If you’re in need of a new controller for your gaming setup, this discounted option is worth considering.

The older OnePlus Pad offers a great deal at its discounted price. With solid performance, a high-quality display, and a sleek design, it stands out as a reliable option in the tablet market. Additionally, with gaming deals on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and a discounted controller, you can enhance your overall entertainment experience at a lower cost. Consider taking advantage of these offers before they expire.
