This move marks a significant step for Acer, as it expands its product lineup to cater to the growing demand for smaller and more portable gaming machines. The Nitro 14 comes with a starting price of $1,299.99 and can be customized with top-of-the-line components such as an AMD Ryzen 7 8845HS processor, an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 graphics card, 32GB of LPDDR5X SDRAM, and a 1TB NVME SSD. On the other hand, the Predator Helios Neo 14 is priced at $1,799.99 and offers configurations with an Intel Ultra 9 185H processor, an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 GPU, and various display options, ranging from 3072 x 1920 at 165Hz to 1920 x 1200 at 120Hz. Both laptops boast Nvidia Advanced Optimus technology and feature the use of liquid metal for improved thermal management.

Acer’s new gaming laptops come equipped with a host of innovative features aimed at enhancing the overall user experience. The inclusion of a new Experience Zone, accessible through the NitroSense key, offers users a range of AI-related functions to optimize performance. The Intel version of the Nitro 16 will also be available in the EMEA at the same time, priced at €1,599.
