Diplodocus Games recently announced on social media that a pre-release patch for Corn Kidz 64 on the Switch will introduce support for Switch Online Nintendo 64 wireless controllers. This feature, known as “trident controls”, can be activated by pressing R on the title screen. The same support for Nintendo 64 controllers will also be added to Super Kiwi 64 in the upcoming weeks. Corn Kidz 64 is set to be released on the eShop on 19th April 2024.

Corn Kidz 64, developed by BogoSoft and published by Diplodocus Games, is a 3D platformer that promises an “authentic Nintendo 64 experience” reminiscent of the ’90s era. Priced at $6.99 / 6.99€, this game has already received rave reviews on Steam for its great move set and unique sense of humor. Players follow the young goat Seve into his recurring dream where he meets his friend Alexis, who assists Seve in breaking free from the dream.

In Corn Kidz 64, players can expect to explore a world full of secrets, showcasing Seve’s dynamic moveset and interacting with fun and unique characters. The game’s evocative low poly graphics can be displayed in various options, allowing players to experience either a nostalgic 90s vibe or modern HD resolution.
