Recently, series co-creator Ed Boon shared an exciting sneak peek from the upcoming Mortal Kombat 2 movie. The photo showcased Kitana’s iconic fan, gripping the fingers of the Princess of Edenia. This image was leaked online, causing a buzz among Mortal Kombat fans eagerly awaiting the sequel. Boon took to social media, specifically X (formerly Twitter), to reveal this exclusive image.
The highly anticipated Mortal Kombat 2 movie will continue the story of Cole Young, the protagonist from the 2021 film. Adeline Rudolph has been cast as Kitana, adding her own flair to the beloved character. Additionally, the movie will feature other popular characters such as Quan Chi, portrayed by Damon Herriman. Fans can also look forward to seeing The Boys star Karl Urban as Johnny Cage, Tati Gabrielle as Jade, Marytn Ford as Shao Kahn, Desmond Chiam as King Jerrod, Ana Thu Nguyen as Sindel, and Damon Herriman as Quan Chi.
