The highly anticipated Fortnite Festival Season 4 is finally here, and this time around, it’s all about Metallica. After three seasons focused on pop artists, Harmonix has decided to shake things up by introducing an entirely new genre to the game. So, get ready to rock out with Metallica as you dive into Season 4.

As with previous seasons, Fortnite Festival Season 4 offers both free and paid paths in the Festival Pass. However, this season comes with a twist – more skins are up for grabs if you choose to go the premium route. By purchasing the premium track of the Festival Pass, you will gain access to all four members of Metallica as Fortnite outfits. Lars Ulrich is immediately unlocked upon purchase, while the other band members can be earned as you progress through the season’s challenges. Additionally, you’ll get Metallica’s epic song “One” as a reward for purchasing the premium pass.

Whether you opt for the free or premium track, there are plenty of new cosmetics and rewards to enjoy in Season 4. From the Slurp Blaster guitar to the Dark Flame Aura and Roundhouse emote, there’s something for everyone. Plus, Epic Games has thrown in some new songs to keep the festival vibes going strong.

Season 4 brings a new competitive PvP mode to Fortnite Festival, where 16 players will battle it out to be the last rockstar standing. With a four-song setlist and the Overdrive multiplier feature, players must strategically attack their rivals to come out on top. The game also features a skill-based matchmaking system to ensure fair gameplay for all participants.

In addition to the Festival Pass rewards, players can also find alternative versions of Metallica outfits in the Item Shop. The Puppet Master outfits for each band member are available for purchase, along with more Metallica songs to add to your collection. From classics like “Enter Sandman” to “Master of Puppets,” there’s no shortage of headbanging tunes to enjoy.

Epic Games has also introduced Jam Tracks as Lobby Tracks in Season 4, allowing players to customize their music playlist between rounds. Furthermore, the update includes quality-of-life fixes, Support-A-Creator changes, and gameplay tunings to enhance the overall Fortnite Festival experience.
