The Fortnite Festival Season 3 has brought some exciting updates, including a new Festival Pass and a special Icon skin featuring Billie Eilish. One of the major changes in this season is the support for guitar controllers, opening up new possibilities for players. The Festival Pass has also been revamped to align more closely with event passes like the Avatar Elements pass. Purchasing the premium Festival Pass for 1800 V-Bucks unlocks the Green Roots Billie skin instantly, along with an exclusive bonus style at the end of the pass.

One of the most significant additions to the Festival Pass this season is the Ultraviolet style of the Green Roots Billie skin, which can only be obtained through the Season 3 Festival Pass. Players can progress through the pass by completing Festival quests while playing the game. The pass offers a free track of rewards, including four jam tracks and the Lavatronik Bass. Upgrading to the premium track unlocks the Billie Eilish-themed keytar and mic stand, four new jam tracks, and a variety of other cosmetics.

The premium track of the Festival pass features new jam tracks such as “Oxytocin” by Billie Eilish, “Friday I’m In Love” by The Cure, “Youngblood” by 5 Seconds of Summer, and “Maps” by Maroon 5. While Eilish currently only has one skin available through the pass, Epic has hinted at a new Item Shop skin to be released later in the season to coincide with her upcoming album release. Additionally, players can find three new jam tracks and two emotes inspired by Eilish in the shop.

A major highlight of the new season is the addition of support for guitar controllers, including the Rock Band 4 Fender Stratocaster, the Rock Band 4 Fender Jaguar, and the new PDP Riffmaster R controller. Guitar controllers will have their own unique guitar and bass charts for each song, as well as separate leaderboards. This means players using regular gamepads won’t be competing against guitar players for high scores. Epic has hinted at more updates regarding instrument controllers in the future, leading to speculation about potential support for plastic drums in upcoming seasons.

Fortnite Festival Season 3 has introduced several exciting changes and updates, from the revamped Festival Pass to the addition of guitar controller support. Players can look forward to unique cosmetics, exclusive rewards, and new jam tracks inspired by Billie Eilish. With the promise of more updates on the horizon, the new season is set to offer a fresh and engaging experience for Fortnite fans.
