The Pokémon Company recently announced the upcoming release of the ‘Shrouded Fable’ Trading Card Game set, scheduled to hit shelves on 2nd August 2024. This new set will introduce Scarlet and Violet’s Indigo Disk DLC Pokémon, Pecharunt, making its debut in the card game arena. Additionally, the DLC’s ‘Loyal Three’ characters, Okidogi, Munkidori, and Fezandipiti, will receive ex variants for the first time, adding further excitement to the collection.

Following the release of the ‘Twilight Masquerade’ expansion, which brought 160 new cards to the game in May, the ‘Shrouded Fable’ set is expected to be slightly smaller, consisting of over 95 cards. The set will showcase special illustrations inspired by Japanese woodblock art, featuring more than 30 Pokémon and Trainer cards with unique designs and details. One such illustration, featuring Greninja ex, has already been revealed on the Pokémon TCG’s Twitter account.

Fans and collectors can look forward to a variety of ways to enjoy the ‘Shrouded Fable’ set upon its release in August. While the Booster Bundle is set to launch on 6th September, mini-tins and special illustration collections will be available from day one.
