Despite the 16% increase in IPC with the new Zen 5 architecture, AMD believes that the Ryzen 9000 series will not surpass the Ryzen 7000 X3D in terms of gaming performance. This is due to the significant boost that V-cache technology provides, particularly in gaming scenarios.
